Overall:
Excellent ride and dynamics - feels like a sports saloon even in basic form. I have driven to Ireland with this car three times, with 4 passengers and a load of musical instruments. I have driven rally-bred cars in the past - you usually get a fast car with poor comfort, but the Mazda 6 is excellent all round. I'm on my 3rd Mazda 6 now, and about to buy my 4th when the new Diesel arrives.

Plus Points:
Excellent ride and dynamics. Superb space in boot and for passengers. Very comfortable. Excellent diesel engines.

Minus Points:
The only point which is less than ideal is the gearbox, which could be a little slicker in operation, but it's still acceptable.
